Farmers Feeding Illinois

Connecting Farmers. Feeding Neighbors. Feeding Illinois together.

Farmers Feeding Illinois connects local agriculture with local food access. It’s a network of programs that make it easier for farmers, growers, and processors to donate or sell fresh, nutritious food to neighbors in need. Through statewide partnerships and real relationships, we’re building smarter systems that reduce waste, feed families, and keep the impact close to home.

Farmers Feeding Illinois is a program connecting an array of statewide Agri-sourcing initiatives in support of Feeding Illinois food banks and their network of community agencies.

From grain donations to surplus produce to community-driven meat programs, each initiative plays a role in making sure no good food - or good will - goes to waste.
