Deirdre McMahon Boone is a nonprofit strategist and fundraising leader who spent more than six years at Feeding America's national headquarters before founding Good Cause Consulting, where she has spent 15+ years serving as a senior advisor to national and local nonprofits, including a partner state association, hunger relief organizations, and education nonprofits. She holds a Master of Science in Public Service Management from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University. Deirdre is deeply committed to building meaningful partnerships at every level, with member food banks, state and federal partners, funders, and legislators, and is honored to lead Feeding Illinois in pursuit of its mission to ensure every Illinoisan has access to nutritious food.
